On the occasion of Doctor’s day today, DMCH organized the introductory session for the PG residents of Batch 2008 in Dumra Auditorium. All the residents were introduced to the senior faculty members, followed by issuing of log books for the post-graduate students. During the session, Principal of DMCH- Dr. Daljit Singh highlighted the important requirements for the completion of post-graduate course. He discussed about the various deadlines regarding the thesis plan submission and thesis submission. He elaborated on the need for logbook and gives various tips and other information useful for the successful completion of postgraduate courses. |

North Zone Thesis writing workshop held at DMCH |

Thesis writing is an integral part of post graduation. Since this is the first encounter of PG’s (MD/MS) with a project, most PG students face a lot of difficulty in giving a final shape to their thesis even after research data has been generated. DMCH has been helping the students in this endeavor organizing thesis-writing workshops in the past. This year, the cover has been extended to the whole of North Zone by organizing North Zone workshop on thesis writing on 24th June, 2008. Hero DMCH Heart Institute, a unit of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, today organised its first diagnostic cardiology summit at Maharaja Farms. President of the DMCH Managing Society Sunil Kant Munjal inaugurated the summit.
