Narrative Medicine Club

Mission of the club- The Narrative Medicine Club is dedicated to fostering empathy, reflection, and humanism in healthcare through the power of storytelling. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space where medical students can explore the intersections of medicine, literature, and patient experience. Through reading, writing, and sharing narratives, we seek to deepen our understanding of patients’ lives, enhance communication skills, and promote a culture of compassion and resilience in medical practice.

Key Activities Conducted- Resource materials shared in group for apprising students about the concept of medical humanities and narrative medicine publication examples in literature. Literature examples shared as links in WhatsApp group.

Upcoming Plans- Meeting of group members to discuss group activities such as writing and sharing narratives in medical humanities. Share example articles in literature for review and suggestions.
