About Doctor

Dr Amandeep kaur has 14 years of experience in managing critically ill patients and performing complex advanced ICU procedures independently .She was topper in ICSE Class 10th exams and did her graduation from Government Medical College, Amritsar after clearing All India exam in first attempt.She pursued her postgraduate degree from reputed Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi in first attempt which formed the basis of managing critically ill patients. 

She was recently honoured with the prestigious YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD 2025 at the National Critical Care Conference held in March 2025 at Kochi, Kerala. She topped nationwide in her research work. She representated DMC&H at an international platform as Faculty at the prestigious Euroanaesthesia ESAIC (European Society of  Anaesthesia and Intensive Care) 2025 held in Lisbon.She had the honour of chairing a session of eight researches from around the world and her presentation will be published in European Journal of Anaesthesiology.  

She is an accredited teacher for trainees undergoing super specialized DM critical care courses mentoring young clinicians. Her work focusses on innovations in critical care management and plays a key role in managing critically ill patients with a particular interest in  mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring and has special expertise in point of care ultrasound (POCUS) which she integrates into daily critical care practice to guide patient management and improve outcomes. She has been an invited faculty member at numerous national conferences and led workshops on critical care and procedural training. She continues to blend academic excellence with clinical practice, striving to improve outcomes in intensive care through both bedside and evidence-based education.
