Dr. Ashvind Bawa is a Professor and Unit Head in the Department of Surgery at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. A recognized hernia surgeon and expert in abdominal wall reconstruction (AWR), Dr. Bawa is renowned for his specialized work in gallbladder surgery, wound management, and AI-driven surgical workflows. He leads the Mentor-Mentee Program, fostering the next generation of doctors and surgeons. Trained internationally at the Cleveland Clinic, Shouldice Hospital, and with global leaders in AWR, Dr. Bawa holds fellowships from the American College of Surgeons and several other national surgical associations.
