About Doctor

Dr Gunchan Paul, Critical Care specialist  with 18 years of experience in managing patients in intensive care unit was an achiever of NTSE scholarship from Class X onwards, graduate from GMC, Chandigarh in Merit position with two gold and five silver medals in various subjects. Following postgraduation she acquired clinical skill and knowledge in Cardiac Anesthesia at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for 3 years.

Her aim has always been to work dedicatedly and sincerely utilizing  her medical education and experience for alleviating sufferings of patients to the best of her ability, with compassion and empathy. She has performed more than 200 Percutaneous tracheostomies  and is well versed with advanced modes of ventilation, advanced haemodynamic and cardiac output monitoring devices and point of care ultrasound use for managing the critically ill patients. 

Being an active member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, she has presided over various leadership roles at city branch and national level and has been recently elected as the Executive Member of the national body of ISCCM. She has delivered lectures and chaired sessions in various zonal and national conferences, published in prestigious journals and takes pride in teaching the budding generation of health care professionals.
