Dr. Gurpreet Singh is a devoted and compassionate Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, known for his clinical expertise, empathetic care, and strong rapport with children and their families. His child-centric approach ensures that young patients feel safe, supported, and understood throughout their treatment journey.He completed his MBBS from Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla, followed by an MD in Pediatrics. His deep interest in childhood cancers and blood disorders led him to pursue a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCI), New Delhi, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of complex hematologic and oncologic conditions.He has a keen interest in managing a wide spectrum of pediatric oncology and hematology cases, including leukemias, lymphomas, solid tumors, thalassemia, ITP, and aplastic anemia. He is also involved in bone marrow transplantation (BMT), contributing meaningfully to the development of pediatric BMT services with a focus on improving outcomes and long-term survivorship. Alongside clinical care, he is actively engaged in academic mentorship, research, and advocacy for childhood cancer awareness. His unwavering dedication, both at the bedside and beyond, continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and in the field of pediatric hemato-oncology.
