About Doctor
Dr Ravinder Kumar Soni is Professor of Statistics in the Department of Community Medicine. He has 76 research publications in various National and International journals. He has attended 16 National and 06 International Conferences. He has been honored with the prestigious award FAMS by National Academy of Medical Sciences, GOI. He has done WHO course on Health System Research and National course on Educational Science Technology for the Teachers of Health Professional. He has attended various ICMR workshop/ symposium at different parts of the country. He has done Multidisciplinary Training of Trainers in Child Protection conducted by International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
He has been the Resource Faculty for many ICMR-WHO-UNICEF Workshops/ Symposium- cum- Training Program. He has been the Principal Investigator of Six ICMR Multicentric Task Force Study of National importance. He is Life member of International Epidemiological Association; Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine; Nutrition Society of India; Indian Science Congress; Health and Population: Perspective and Issues and Indian Society of Medical Statistics. He has been the Independent Monitor on behalf of WHO for various NID & SNID rounds of Pulse Polio Immunization. He has visited many countries - USA, UK, Japan, Ireland, Germany, France, Scotland, Singapore, Iran, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Hong Kong for attending conference where he chaired scientific session and/or presented research paper. He has been reviewer of many national and international research journals.
