About Doctor

Dr Ruchita Tyagi passed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore (Manipal University) in 2007 , following which she pursued MD Pathology from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana from 2008-2011. After that she gained 3.5 years teaching experience till 2014 as Senior resident from PGIMER Chandigarh where she completed Post doctorate certificate course in Cytopathology during her tenure there.Subsequently she joined Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana as Assistant Professor in 2015 and was promoted to the post of Associate Professor in July 2021.She has actively represented DMC in various National and International conferences. She has 43 research publications in indexed journals (28 International & 15 national) till date. She is an active researcher and has mentored various Post graduate students in their thesis and research publications.
