About Doctor

Dr Sangeeta Girdhar did her MBBS and MD from Govt Medical College, Patiala and presently working as Professor of Community Medicine. Her main area of interest is Maternal & Child Health and Prevention of Non communicable diseases. She is presently in-charge of Urban Health Centre, Shimlapuri. She has  more than 50 international & national publications to her credit and has presented papers at international and national conferences. She is life member of IAPSM,  IPHA and IAAH. She is Joint Secretary in IPHA Chd branch and IAAH Punjab chapter. She is reviewer in state and National Journals

She has been appointed as nodal officer for AFP surveillance & National vector borne diseases control program.
