With a career spanning more than three decades, Dr. Ralhan has performed over 14,000 coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures. He is especially recognized for his expertise in off-pump CABG (OPCABG) and total arterial revascularization using bilateral internal mammary arteries (BIMA), having completed over 7,000 cases using this advanced technique.

He also specializes in:

     •   Minimally invasive cardiac surgery

     •   Complex aortic surgeries including aortic dissection repair, ascending aortic

aneurysm surgery, aortic arch reconstruction, thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, and endovascular aortic interventions (EVAR & TEVAR)

     •   Heart valve repair and replacement procedures

Dr. Ralhan has trained under globally acclaimed surgeons including Dr. Naresh Trehan, Dr. Joseph S. Coselli, and Dr. Ashish S. Shah. He is actively involved in mentoring cardiac surgeons from India and abroad, conducting live surgical workshops, and contributing to research and publications on advanced surgical techniques and genetic studies in cardiac patients.

Currently, he is spearheading the development of a heart transplant program in Punjab, with the vision of delivering state-of-the-art, life-saving treatments to the region.
