Dr Siddharth Bhargava is presently working as Associate Professor in the department of Pediatrics. After completing his MBBS from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur and MD in Pediatrics from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal; he pursued his Senior Residency at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research(PGIMER), Chandigarh for three years. He joined DMC & Hospital as a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)in 2007 and later was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2008. He went to Cambridge University Hospital(United Kingdom) for a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care in 2012.He received the second best paper award for his research presentation at the National Conference of Pediatric Critical Care in 2013. Dr Siddharth was awarded the “Indian Diploma in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine”(IDPCCM) in 2015. He has presented papers and posters at various national and international conferences. He is an Instructor for the Indian Academy of Pediatrics Basic and Advanced Life Support Courses. Dr Siddharth has been proficiently performing advanced life saving procedures in the Pediatric ICU, including bronchoscopy. He is also an accredited teacher for the Indian Fellowship program in Pediatric Intensive Care and is currently the President Elect of Pediatric Intensive Care Society of Punjab. He recently underwent and successfully completed an Advanced Asthma course spanning a period of 4 months.
