Dr. Sushant Babbar is the Chief Interventional Radiologist, specializing in pinhole, non-surgical procedures that provide advanced, minimally invasive solutions for a wide range of complex conditions. With a track record of excellence, he has performed over 2,500 vascular and more than 20,000 non-vascular procedures, earning recognition as one of the most experienced and trusted names in the field.

His areas of expertise include embolization for bleeding and tumors, uterine artery embolization, fistuloplasty, peripheral artery diseases, varicose vein ablation and varicocele embolization, thyroid artery embolization and complex fetal interventions with 1st successful IUT in Punjab to his credit. He is a leading expert in the non-surgical management of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) through targeted embolization and ablation.

He regularly performs difficult biopsies and manages vascular access procedures such as permacaths, PICC lines, and chemoports.

He is at the forefront of managing ascites and variceal bleeding in cirrhosis by performing regions maximum number of TIPS and PARTO (Plug-Assisted Retrograde Transvenous Obliteration).
