About Doctor
- I am presently working as Professor of Medicine in Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana.
- I am presently actively engaged in teaching and training undergraduate & postgraduate students, patient care & research . My major research interests are inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease & liver diseases. My research projects have been associated with ICMR, DBT and various other national and international consortiums apart from numerous in-house projects. I have over 230 publications in international & national journals.
- I am professionally affiliated to a number of internal medicine and gastroenterology societies, and keep updating myself by attending and organising conferences regularly.
- I am a founder member of Colitis Crohns Foundation (India ).
- I am a member of the team of recepient Dr. B.C. Roy, Research Category award , Dr B C Bansal & Uma Bansal oration of IACM amongst various others. I am a Fellow of Indian college of Physicians, Fellow IACM & Fellow IMSA.
- My public health initiatives include health education for celiac awareness and liver diseases majorly.
