About Doctor

Dr. Sangam Papneja is a dedicated Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant Surgeon with specialized training in the management of complex liver, pancreas, and biliary disorders. He completed his MCh in HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation from the prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi in 2025, one of the leading liver institutes in India.

Dr. Papneja has extensive training in the management of advanced liver diseases, liver transplantation, hepatobiliary cancers, pancreatic disorders, and complex biliary surgeries. During his training at ILBS, he gained significant experience in both living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation, as well as advanced minimally invasive and open hepatobiliary procedures.

His clinical interests include the management of liver cirrhosis, liver tumors, pancreatic diseases, biliary strictures, gallbladder diseases, and acute liver failure, with a focus on evidence-based and patient-centered care. He is committed to providing comprehensive treatment using the latest surgical techniques and multidisciplinary approaches.

Dr. Papneja is passionate about improving outcomes for patients with complex liver diseases and is actively involved in clinical research, education, and advancing liver transplant surgery in India.
