Organ Donation Awareness session

As part of our continued efforts to raise awareness, an Organ Donation Awareness Session was held for BSc Nursing 3rd and 5th semester students at DMC&H College of Nursing, Malakpur. The session began with a warm welcome by Dr Amninder Kaur, Associate Professor, DMC&H College of Nursing, who introduced the speakers and set the tone for what turned out to be an informative and inspiring event.

Dr. Gursagar Singh Sahota, Chief Liver Transplant Surgeon at DMC&H, shared powerful insights into the life-saving importance of organ donation. His talk, backed by inspiring real-life transplant success stories, gave students a deeper understanding of the transplant journey and the incredible impact donors can make.

To wrap up the session, Ms Sunita, Assistant Professor encouraged students to spread the word and become advocates for organ donation in their communities.
