Clinical Haematology

The Department of Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) stays committed to advanced care for blood disorders within Punjab. As one of the region's pioneering specialized centers, the department is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment for a wide array of conditions, including blood cancers (myeloma, leukemia and lymphoma), anemia, increased or decreased red cells, white cells or platelets, disorders of bleeding or blood clotting. This is also the third centre in North India providing stem cell transplantation services and has performed over 100 stem cell transplants so far for various blood disorders. The department has also launched Punjab's first CAR T-cell therapy program, underscoring its unwavering commitment to bringing revolutionary, life-saving treatments to the community it serves.
