World Asthma Day

Department of Pharmacology, DMC&H under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics and Professor & Head, successfully organized a vibrant Quiz Competition on the occasion of World Asthma Day (May 06, 2025). With the active contribution of esteemed faculty members — Dr. Shalini Arora, Dr. Kanchan Gupta, Dr. Bharti Mahajan, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, and Dr. Ajay Gupta, the event saw enthusiastic participation from MBBS Batch 2023 students.

The competition started with a Screening Round, followed by a Tie Breaker Round, through which the top 12 students were shortlisted and divided into 4 teams of 3 participants each. The quiz featured multiple engaging rounds, including image-based questions, fill-in-the-blanks, true/false, and an exciting buzzer round.

The audience too participated with great enthusiasm and walked away with prizes. Team A — Akansha, Akarshit, and Arsheen — emerged as the winners, while Team C — Baldaksh, Manpriya, and Mehak Garg — secured the second position. Teams B and D received participation certificates. The event proved to be an enriching and enjoyable learning experience, blending knowledge with fun on a globally significant health awareness day.
