The field of medicine known as Dentistry is dedicated to the identification, avoidance, and management of illnesses and disorders affecting the teeth, gums, and oral cavity. Maintaining oral health, which is directly related to general well-being, is a critical function of dentists. Oral infections, gum disease, and cavities can all be avoided with routine dental exams.

General dentistry,   endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (dental implants and restorations),  pediatric dentistry (oral care for children)orthodontics (teeth and jaw alignment),and periodontics (gum diseases), Oral surgery  are important specialities of Dentistry. Patient care has greatly improved thanks to developments in dental technology, including digital imaging, ( RVG and  OPG ) and painless procedures.

Preventing dental issues requires practising good oral hygiene, which includes brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups. In addition to improving oral health, modern dentistry also helps people smile more confidently and live better lives overall.
