• Awarded World Record for “Fastest to Deliver Baby During a Caesarean Section Surgery” a new record recognized by the International Book of Records. Successfully delivered a baby through a skin incision during a Caesarean section surgery in an extraordinary time of 65 seconds breaking the earlier documented record of 2 minutes.

• Awarded on International Women’s Day by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Ludhiana (NIRC) on 08.03.2025. 

• Dr. Ashima Taneja has been felicitated with the prestigious State Award on 76th Republic Day celebrations on 26.01.2025 for her exceptional contribution to women’s healthcare in Punjab by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab 

• On the occasion of International Women’s Day Department of Obst. & Gynae at DMC&H in association with IAPEN Ludhiana Chapter organized a special event to honour Antenatal women and promote good nutritional practice in antenatal women. Gift Hampers were distributed to expectant mothers in OPD, Ward, UHC and RHC, symbolizing care and support for their well-being during pregnancy.

• Represented India, DMC&Hospital in “Borne Collaborative Meeting” held at Charlotte, North Carolina on 25th March 2025 for International Research Project.
