Dr Sumati Verma is a young and dynamic pediatric intensivist specially trained in pediatric bronchoscopy and skilled in difficult procedures.
She did her MBBS and MD Pediatrics from DMCH. She passed her intensive care fellowship with a gold medal at national level in 2020 and is currently working as Assistant Professor and Pediatric Intensivist in the department. She has been the PICU Incharge in CMC Ludhiana for 1 and a half year before joining the institute.
Dr Sumati is AHA BLS-ACLS instructor apart from being a certified IAP-BLS-ALS instructor. She has national and international publications and few chapters in books related to intensive care and has presented multiple posters and papers in national as well as international conferences. She has started simulation classes in the department.
